What is Parang Blue?
The word “Parang” means “blue” in Korean, a color that embodies calmness and serenity.
With that same philosophy, Parang Blue was created for sensitive skin that has yet to find the right fit. Each product is carefully formulated for efficacy, gentleness, and minimal irritation.
Our Story
Parang Blue began when our founder, Hongmyoung Kim, set out to help his daughter whose highly reactive skin struggled to tolerate even products labeled "for sensitive skin."
Over the course of a decade, she tried more than 100 different products, yet many still caused irritation, breakouts, and felt unpleasant on the skin. Through this experience, it became clear that skincare is deeply individual, and that many commonly praised ingredients—including certain actives, natural extracts, and oils—are not universally tolerated, regardless of their reputation.
Parang Blue was created with this understanding at its core. Here, we prioritize comforting skincare that is thoughtfully formulated with ingredients that are gentle enough for most of the sensitive-skin community.
